Inspiration for Aspiring Queens

Mall provides platform to help inspire future queens at MTUSA 2026 auditions

Aspiring young pageant girls descended to the Newcastle Mall on April 4 to hopefully follow in the footsteps of Newcastle’s very own Miss Teen Universe South Africa (MTUSA) 2025 winner, Chrizmie Mostert.

The hallways of the mall were alive with giggles and excitement when the girls auditioned for the 2026 Miss Teen Universe South Africa (MTUSA) contest.

Chrizmie won over the judges at the 7th Miss Teen Universe SA pageant, at Meropa Casino in Polokwane on March 23, where she was announced the overall winner.

In celebration of Chrizmie’s remarkable achievement, Newcastle Mall helped host the special event to honour Chrizmie, along with other MTUSA winners and pageant organisers.

The queens were also spoilt by mall management with thoughtful gifts and heartfelt appreciation for their dedication and grace.

Not only did the queens shine with their grace and beauty, but they also assisted in the judging process of the auditions.

Girls showed up in numbers – all of them determined to give it their all to prove that they had what it took to be part of South Africa’s future generation of queens of beauty.
