Queen of the World Pageant Returns to New York City, Celebrating Women’s Empowerment and Diversity

The Queen of the World Pageant will return to New York City on May 10, 2025, presenting a transformative event that celebrates women’s empowerment, diversity, and personal achievement. Hosted at the Jay Sharp Theater in Symphony Space, the pageant will showcase contestants from four competitive divisions: Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Elite.

Founded by triple crown titleholder Alice Lee Giannetta and produced by Beauty Redefined, a minority woman-owned production company, the pageant offers participants more than just a competition. Winners will receive a prize package valued at over $20,000, including a custom crown and sash, international travel opportunities, diamond jewelry, a professional photoshoot, and luxury brand experiences.

The pageant distinguishes itself by creating an inclusive platform that welcomes women of all ages and backgrounds. Contestants will participate in a week-long program beginning May 5, which includes training, confidence-building workshops, interviews, and networking opportunities. The grand finale on May 10 will be streamed live via pay-per-view.

Giannetta’s vision for the pageant centers on redefining beauty and success through professionalism, passion, and integrity. The organization emphasizes creating a supportive community where women can celebrate their differences and individual strengths.

The event will honor its 2024 titleholders: Maya Ramsahoye (Miss), China Allen (Ms.), Jennifer Lloyd (Mrs.), and Kristi Wischnack (Elite), each of whom has contributed to the pageant’s mission of empowering women globally.

Beyond the competition, the Queen of the World Pageant represents a contemporary approach to pageantry, focusing on personal growth, community support, and celebrating women’s multifaceted achievements.
